I think they'd love the Grand Canyon and National Forest. Great pictures, Maeve. And we definitely enjoy our time spent with the grandbaby - I think mainly because we know she's going to grow up entirely too soon.Maeve Greysonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14947265251857551496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9182324694661837287.post-15822832589144372712011-08-08T09:34:08.008-05:002011-08-08T09:34:08.008-05:00Hard to believe summer's almost over, but I...Hard to believe summer's almost over, but I'm looking forward to autumn and some heat relief! Plus autumn's my favorite season. :)
My dad always said the same thing: don't wish your life away. Very wise!
Your granddaughter's the perfect age to enjoy summer with. I remember once, we ended up traveling the wrong way on a one way street in Nashville! I just closed my eyes until she stopped laughing long enough to find a place to turn around. Nothing fazes that kid!Maeve Greysonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14947265251857551496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9182324694661837287.post-7279570650737009142011-08-06T15:36:12.163-05:002011-08-06T15:36:12.163-05:00Our only vacations have been road trips on college...Our only vacations have been road trips on college visits. I can't believe how fast she's growing up. I almost wish I could make time stand still so she'd always be little but I guess that would be selfish. *sigh*Maeve Greysonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14947265251857551496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9182324694661837287.post-27905009768013269852011-08-05T19:51:40.757-05:002011-08-05T19:51:40.757-05:00Ah, unfortunately it does have to come to a bitter...Ah, unfortunately it does have to come to a bittersweet end. My kids actually start school August 29th. Even though mom and dad still have to work during the summer, *groan*, the kids have had a blast. Canada, Hershey Park, Kennywood Park, Cooks Forest, sleepovers, swimming pools, sunburns and suntans. Even though I love summer, I love fall even more. Great pics. Your granddaughter is getting so big. How old is she now?Victoria Robertshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14655411862542154351noreply@blogger.com
