Animal lover?

In case you didn't know it, I love animals and more often than not; I tend to understand and feel a sense of acceptance from animals more than I do with my own "species". A friend of mine emailed the following pictures to me today and they gave me such a warm happy feeling --I just had to share. I don't know where these photographs originated but I'm grateful to whoever put them "out there" for all of us to enjoy.

Have a great weekend y'all!
:-)

Where did THAT come from?

And he goes for the dunk!

Whaddya mean I've only got 5 more minutes?

Mine! Mine! Mine!

The professional cake taster was provided at no additional charge.

Ahh...nothing like one of those beds that conforms to your body.

Yaaawwwnnn...just lemme sleep a little longer, 'kay?

How's YOUR'S taste?

Did you just call me SHORT???

Excuse me? Were you speaking to us?

More please?

But Mama - the ground is hot!!

Pardon me. Could you please ask the waiter to bring me a clean fork?

It's been a LOOOONG day!

Shhh...baby is sleeping.

Well dammit.

We'll hold him down while you run get help.

What do you mean you THINK you saw it run out the window?

It was like this when I got here. SWEAR!

  1. They are all too cute. Our cat is getting so old, it makes me sad to see her limping around. Don't know if I'll have the heart to adopt another one when she's gone.

  2. I know exactly how you feel, Susan. Our cat of twenty years died a few months ago and we still don't feel "brave" enough to take in another feline friend. We've got Jasper and my husband dreads when the time comes for my little friend to cross over because he knows it will shatter my heart. We bond so closely to our furry friends.

  5. I LOVE them. But the dog in the last picture should be saying, "I swear the cats in the previous picture did it!"

  13. I love my furbabies, but I'm one of those people who love all the critters. I find many of the stories about friendship between humans and wild creatures to be amazing. I prefer to admire the beauty of a polar bear or lion from a safe distance. But I wish the squirrels would quit planting pecan trees in my yard.

  15. Very cute. Those critters are always good for a smile. Woke up this morning to my Zoey, a long haired domestic, doing battle with a Q-tip. Wonder where she found that!

  16. LOL!I'm sure Zoey would tell you that the Q-tip found her and she was only defending herself!
