I adore snow, Paisley. But we don't get it nearly as often and you do so when Mother Nature decides to treat us to a winter wonderland, I cherish it. I'm sure if I had to deal with it everyday, I might not enjoy it nearly as much. I hope Ken's prayers are answered!
We had a wonderful holiday. Jasper even got a new squeakie toy! Hugs back atcha, my friend. :-)
Thank you! I'm very lucky to have lots of woodland friends who frequently come to visit. The only ones I don't much enjoy are the skunks. I'd be perfectly happy if they didn't stop by and remind my little dog why it's so unwise to bark at them. ;-)
Gorgeous, Maeve. But COLD looking. I'm so glad I have friends like you who will take on the freezing temps to let me enjoy the scenery from my warm spot in AZ. Thanks for the eye joy, my friend.
What a beautiful gift you gave us! I used to live on the East Coast, am now near San Francisco, so it was soooo nice to see the magic of snow. Lovely...
Yes, that's truly beautiful. Hoping this added a mellow glow to your holiday, Maeve, and that Jasper has not squeaked his new toy to death just yet. My puppy is on toy sensory overload.
LOL! Jasper takes bouts of wildly squeaking and then sleeping it off. He's definitely enjoying his new toy. I bet your household is lively 24/7 with puppy enthusiasm! :-)
What beautiful pictures Maeve. I envy you so much, I'd love to live in the woods. I miss the forests and mountains of my native Wales so much. I was hoping for a white Christmas this year but sadly we didn't get it but at least it didn't rain all day. Have a Wonderful New Year.
Gorgeous photos, Maeve!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cynthia! :-)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful! I wan tto come visit you! LOL!
ReplyDeleteCome on over, Sarah! We're gonna be home by the fire all day. :-)
DeleteSo beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI thought so too, Katalina. I love living in the woods.
DeleteBeautiful, Maeve. It looks like our place covered in white. Ken keeps praying he won't have to take the snow thrower out. It's 34 degrees here.
ReplyDeleteHoping you all had a great holiday. Hugs!

ReplyDeleteI love it, Mary!
DeleteBeautiful grounds. I envy you the quiet, the beauty, and the animals. I like to look at snow from a distance, but I love animals up close.

ReplyDeleteThey are gorgeous scenes, would be perfect on Christmas cards.
Cheers
Margaret
Absolutely, Margaret! Take care :-)
DeleteTerrific pictures. We're getting snow now. Alas I don't take pictures but wouldn't see any anumals except the neighbors dogs or a stray cat.
ReplyDeleteAhh...but you'll still have the beauty of the snow! :-)

DeleteVery lovely, Maeve. I love seeing the wildlife out and about. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Calisa. Me too. I'd be lost in the big city.
DeleteAwesome pictures. Cardinals are so pretty especially against the white snow. We have a pair at our house and I could watch them all day.
ReplyDeleteAnd they've got so much personality, Susan. It's so neat to watch them socializing and establishing a strict pecking order.
DeleteLovely. I love the cardinals. We only saw the females here yesterday--I think the guys were napping!
ReplyDeleteLOL! The guys must've found a warm place to snooze, Liz. :-)
