😍Not much longer to wait! Only a few more days until release day for A FINE SCOTTISH LOVE!

❤️Here's a sneak peek:

Movement out of the corner of his eye made him turn and partially draw his sword.

“Forgive me for startling ye, grand chieftain.” Keeva brandished one of her strange contraptions higher, holding it out to him with an apologetic smile. The thing resembled a square slate, but it was as polished as newly forged steel on one side, and the other was as black as the underbelly of a raven. As soon as the lass tapped on the gleaming black side, it exploded with color, revealing visions as if it were a window to the world. “She’ll not be able to resist our cottage in the hills. ’Tis just what she wants. Isolated yet lovely—and still on holy land, so ye’ll be able to go there even though it will be in her time.”

Giving the assistant and her strange slate of images a wide berth, Mathison cautiously made his way back to the long table in the center of the room. He halted while still some distance from it, yet close enough to once again look into the eyes of the woman reflected in the bowl. Deep within him, dangerously close to where his heart might once have been, something stirred like a fragile seedling touched for the first time by the sun’s nurturing rays.

“There is pain in her eyes,” he said softly, more to himself and his wolf than anyone else. “She has suffered much.”

“She has,” Mairwen agreed. “But that is her story to tell, just as yer pain will be yers to share with her when ye sense the proper time has arrived.”

“Neither of us are younglings.”

“No, ye are not.” Mairwen moved closer. “But that does not mean all is lost. The love and contentment of a bonded pair of fated mates is not reserved only for the young ones.” She tipped the slightest shrug. “Nine and thirty mortal years is not old for her, and neither is yer lifespan of over seven hundred years old for yerself. The two of ye merely possess more life experience than a pair of wide-eyed hatchlings just coming into their own.”

“Life experience.” He snorted. “I notice ye nay mentioned wisdom.”

“Wisdom knows no age. Either ye possess it—or ye don’t.”

He closed the distance between himself and the table and allowed himself to sink deeper into the image’s eyes. The strange stirring within him increased, making him swallow hard to keep his whisky in his stomach.

“What is wrong with us? What is that feeling?” his wolf asked.

“I dinna ken,” Mathison whispered under his breath, finding it just as frightening as his inner beast did.

“It is hope,” Mairwen told them, once again intruding upon their thoughts. “Ye’ve not felt it in a verra long while.” She offered him an encouraging smile. “Hold fast to it, honored chieftain. Hope strengthens a soul.”

A cursed immortal shifter. A grieving mortal woman. A fated mate bond that could save the realms—or destroy them.

For centuries, Grand Chieftain Mathison Shadowmist has endured an unbreakable curse, bound to immortality and endless loss. Once the mighty ruler of Scotland’s Ninth Realm of shifters, he now returns month after month to Seven Cairns, hoping the Divine Weavers have finally found the woman foretold to free him—or end him.

They have.

Calia Wiles is a modern American, newly divorced and hollowed by grief after the loss of her young daughter. Seeking solitude and peace, she plans a quiet life in the Scottish Highlands, unaware that ancient magic has marked her as the missing half of an immortal soul. She doesn’t believe in fate, curses, or shifter chieftains—and she wants nothing to do with a bond she never chose.
But Seven Cairns does not call the unbroken.

Because some curses are not broken by magic alone.

They demand trust. Sacrifice. And a love strong enough to heal what fate itself has torn apart.
As the Divine Weavers of Seven Cairns weave their most perilous match yet, ancient magic stirs, the Highland Veil weakens, and two wounded souls are drawn together against impossible odds. To claim their fated bond, Mathison and Calia must confront grief, prejudice, and a curse that has defied centuries of magic. Because at Seven Cairns, love is never accidental, fate is never gentle, and every match—once forged—has the power to heal more than just two hearts.

A Fine Scottish Love is a sweeping Scottish romantasy featuring fated mates, ancient curses, a powerful immortal hero, a resilient modern heroine, and an emotionally rich, slow-burn love where destiny never comes without a price.

She gave him a meal; he offered her poetry—and both hungered for more.

Lady Felicity has mastered the fine art of disappearing. The sixth of eight siblings, she’s long been labeled the “cull of the litter” by Society’s sharpest tongues. Shy, curvaceous, and far more comfortable in a kitchen than a ballroom, she slips away from every soiree her matchmaking brother forces her to attend—preferably toward the comforting scent of butter and warm bread just pulled from the oven. Food, after all, is her love language.

But the night she finds a ravenous stranger prowling a host’s kitchen, her quiet world tilts. The handsome, silver-tongued intruder devours the food she prepares with poetic praise that leaves her cheeks—and her heart—unexpectedly warm.

Drake Pemberton, newly minted seventh Earl of Wakefield, didn’t plan on falling for the charming “kitchen angel” who saved him from starvation. Nor did he expect her to be a duke’s sister—with a dowry that could rescue him from the debt and danger left by his not-so-dead uncle, the sixth Earl of Wakefield. But Felicity is determined to marry for love, not money, and Drake knows the truth about his circumstances could send her running.

As a delicious attraction simmers into something deeper, lies of omission, malicious gossip, and dangerous creditors threaten to scorch their budding romance. Only trust—and a love worth every risk—can save them before it all boils over.

Tropes you'll love:
Shy, curvaceous wallflower who steps into her courage
He falls first
Food as a love language
Miscommunication
Lies of omission
Danger from outside forces
Posing as a peer
